Yes, we've been waiting for the sun over here in Portland, Oregon. After weeks of clouds and rain-- the second wettest June EVER-- we're finally beginning to get some sun. And sun is good for our Hood Strawberries. It's still a little early but they are still awesome. This means the next couple weeks will bring me flat after flat of gorgeous Hoods.
So I need ideas. I always make the standard freezer jam and shortcake and last weekend I whipped up some Strawberry Muddles which tasted great but mine did not look at appetizing as the one in Bon Appetit magazine. Alas no photo for you.
So give me some suggestions and maybe some links to strawberry recipes you love. I need help people!
