Remember when I started painting my craft room months ago? Well I have three walls done and yet have zero motivation to finish. So here is a very cropped photo to show the part that is presentable. The rest of the room is...... less than presentable.
And it has been grey and raining so the weeds have been flourishing in the garden and slugs are taking over everything. To sum it up: no gardening, no baking, even less cleaning means: more time to draw.
This is a drawing of my friend Jan and her partner Janet. (Please send any positive vibes, prayers and otherwise good jujus their way.) I plan to watercolor it but I messed up the watercolor I posted last week and now I'm nervous and don't want to ruin this one too!
I struggle finding ideas for things to sketch tho...there are only so many starbucks logos I can draw. So a call for help: I love the inspiration I get from a good quote or passage from a book. So can you guys give me your favorite quotes/poems/words for inspiration?
