The rain that greeted us meant daily rainbows, at least for awhile. Even a double rainbow which I am sure meant double good luck was to be had.
Behold Zion National Park. My photos just can't do it justice!
It was gorgeous and peaceful despite the many tourists. One nice thing is the park lets in only a few cars because they offer a shuttle service. After going to Yellowstone and dodging RVs and hundreds of cars, we were thrilled with this rule at Zion.
Then we went to Cedar Breaks National Monument right at sunset which was so gorgeous!
Then we made our way to Bryce Canyon which looks like you're on another planet. We had a somewhat leisurely and breathtaking hike down into this canyon.
These are all the switchbacks coming up out of the canyon.
This guy had a nice gig going at one of the scenic overlooks. He had people feeding him left and right because he would come right up to you.
We met my mom at the tail end of our trip and visited Hoover Dam together.
So have you been anywhere interesting this summer?
